Engineered for nationwide commercial networks and private industrial infrastructure, the cellular modem supports 5G NR bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n28, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n71, n77, n78 and n79 across both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) architectures, with Carrier Aggregation (CA) and ENDC. Regional Australian transport corridors are covered by 4G LTE Band 28 (700 MHz), alongside the private cellular bands Band 48 / n48 (CBRS) and Band 68 (PPDR). The device is certified for PTCRB and GCF compliance and supports 3GPP Release 15 MCX standards, eMBMS broadcast protocols, VoNR, VoLTE, Vi-LTE and VoWiFi. Traffic preemption and Quality of Service are managed across QCI classes 1–9, 65–67, 69–76, 79–80 and 82–85.
Carrier flexibility comes from dual-SIM connectivity, using one physical nano-SIM slot and an embedded eSIM. Facility networking uses Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/e/k/r/v) with fast roaming protocols to keep database sessions active between access points. Peripherals pair over Bluetooth 5.2 and Near Field Communication (NFC). Location tracking uses multi-constellation satellite positioning that supports GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou. Physical connections include a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a secure 16-pin lateral interface for heavy-duty audio accessories, and rear base charging contacts.
