The CPU delivers a 40% jump in performance while the 5 core GPU is an 80% improvement in graphics performance.
Display
The iPad Mini has a new Liquid retina display. The 8.3” display is LED-backlit and offers the user Multi-Touch with IPS technology. The display’s resolution of 2266x1488 at 326 pixels per inch (ppi), has a wide colour (P3) and True Tone display. The fully laminated display has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating and anti-reflective coating, giving the device a reflectivity of 1.8% and 500 nits brightness.
Camera & Video
One of the attractive features of the iPad Mini is its new, advanced cameras - ideal for when you’re working out in the field and need to take a few good quality photos for the file or to send to a colleague. The 12MP wide camera has f/1.8 aperture, digital zoom up to 5x, five-element lens, Quad-LED True Tone flash and Autofocus with Focus Pixels. For your video recording needs, there’s the 4K video recording at 24 fps, 25 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps plus 1080p HD video recording at 25 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps. No expert videography skills are required with Centre Stage, which automatically pans the camera to keep users in view.
The iPad also supports Apple Pencil (2nd Generation) which provides new ways for capturing photos and videos, communicating and jotting down notes.

The sensors include Touch ID, three-axis gyro, accelerometer, barometer and ambient light sensor.
Dual microphones are available for calls, video recording and audio recording.
The built-in 19.3-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides up to 10 hours of web surfing or watching videos while connected to Wi-Fi. Charge the device using the power adapter or USB-C port which also allows faster connectivity. Cellular models with 5G allow more flexibility for mobile workflows.
