Display
The display is an LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with IPS technology with 2160-by-1620-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The True Tone display offers 500 nits brightness and has a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. Use your Apple Pencil (1st generation) on the display.
Camera
While not a 12MP camera like the 12.9” Pro and 8.3” Mini models, its 8MP wide camera, ƒ/2.4 aperture, and up to 5 times digital zoom, will more than suffice for your work and personal photo requirements. With a five-element lens, panorama (up to 43MP), HDR for photos and auto image stabilisation, you’ll be taking high quality photos. Use the geotagging feature to pinpoint locations when you’re on the move.
Video recording is also available with 1080p HD video recording at 25 fps and 30 fps or 720p HD video recording at 30 fps. Slow motion and 3x video zoom is also available.
The FaceTime HD Camera feature uses a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 122° field of view and ƒ/2.4 aperture. The 1080p HD video recording is available at 25 fps, 30 fps, or 60 fps.
Other Features
Sensors include Touch ID, three‐axis gyro, accelerometer, barometer and ambient light sensor. Touch ID allows you to unlock your iPad, secure personal data with apps and make purchases.
The built-in 32.4-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides up to 10 hours of Wi-Fi web surfing or video watching.
