The ecom Tab-Ex® Pro DZ2 is the world's first 10.1” Intrinsically Safe Android tablet. The Tab-Ex® Pro is certified for Zone 2/22 and Div. 2 hazardous areas. The device is ideal for web-based content and the most demanding industry 4.0 apps. The Tab-Ex® Pro is a high-performance rugged tablet based on the fully rugged Samsung Tab Active Pro.
Fully Rugged
The unit is fully rugged with a certification of IP68, the highest rating for water and dust resistance. The unit can be submerged in water at depths of over 1 metre and is designed for use anywhere in the world in extreme temperatures from -20 to 55 °C.
Technology for Industry 4.0 
With the largest display in its class, the Tab-Ex® Pro is ideal for viewing detailed instruction documents and complex web-based content. The Tab-Ex® Pro is a Google ARCore supported device, which means you can implement augmented reality applications to ensure your organisation runs safely and smoothly.
High Performance
The multi-touch display can be operated with gloves or the Samsung S-pen and offers good readability in direct sunlight.
Users can view and manage their products’ software and configurations using a remote firmware solution. The unit includes ecom’s ‘Digital Products and Services’, a ready-to-use-service that ensures quality and security for your customised device.

The rear camera is 13MP and front camera 8MP. Video recording resolution is UHD 4K (3840 x 2160 Pixel) @ 30 fps. The internal data memory is 64 GByte with an optional Micro SD flash card up to 512 GByte available. Sensors include an accelerometer, barometer, fingerprint sensor, position sensor, compass, hall sensor, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

With 15 hours’ runtime on the replaceable 7,400 mAh battery, the tablet can keep working long after you’ve retired for the day. Recharge using the Pogo Pin connector.
Samsung Knox Security
With a Google Android operating system and Samsung Knox security, you can have peace of mind that your data and device are secure. The device supports biometric authentication through facial recognition or fingerprint scan (D2 version). Knox security provides protection against malware, privacy hacks, and threats. A programmable key is available for emergency calls, ideal for workers out in the field on their own.
