The tablet is powered by the latest firmware release, currently Android 12, Octa-Core 64-Bit and 4GB RAM. The microSD means 512 GB is an option and up to 1 TB is possible.
With the addition of the Samsung DeX function, you can convert the tablet into a full desktop computer. Connect the tablet to a large screen that is HDMI capable via the Multiport DeX Adapter. Additional accessories and digital products ensure superior flexibility.
The Ecom Tab-Ex® 03 DZ1 is a slim-form tablet with a multi-touch display that can be operated with an S pen or with gloves, in wet conditions. The 1920x1200 pixels display is an 8-inch WUXGA with 480 nit brightness.
The device is quick to learn with a Google Android™ operating system. Face recognition and the use of Samsung Knox ensure data and processes are kept secure. The Next Generation 8-inch device is also part of the Android Enterprise Recommended program. The inclusion of Google ARCore means remote support, training and customised company tools are available to do everything from asset management to equipment inspection.
The dimensions of the tablet are 262.7mm x 161.5mm x 25.7 mm, making it perfect for carrying around all day.

The Ecom Tab-Ex® 03 DZ1 is suitable for use in Zone 1/21 or Division 1-rated locations. The device comes with ATEC (Europe), IECEx (International) and UKCA Ex Certificates.
