When it comes to powerful screen displays, Getac’s LumiBond Display technology delivers crisp images with good colour performance. LumiBond uses cutting-edge technology to reduce the chance of condensation occurring between the tablets LCD panel and the touch screen. With anti glare design and 600 Nits of brightness, the T800 can be used in direct sunlight, something that many workers are exposed to when working in the field.

Like all other Getac rugged devices, the T800 has been approved of MIL-STD-810G certification which means it can survive drops of more than 1 metre and other sudden vibrations or shocks. It can also withstand complete exposure to solids (sand and dust) and can withstand water jet pressure from any direction thanks to its IP65 certification.
A magnesium alloy frame and shock-mounted hard drive make this a tough tablet that can withstand a harsh life.
