Designed for Safety in Explosive Environments
For explosive environments, there is the option for ATEX Zone 2/22 and IECEx certification. Insulating material and circuit designs keep the device ignition-proof and intrinsically safe.
Powerful Rugged Tablet
Getac never compromises on performance. The T800-EX is powered by the latest Quad-core Intel® Atom™ x7-Z8750 1.6 GHz processor. Storage capacity is 4GB LPDDR3, but has an optional 8GB LPDDR3.
Ergonomic Display
The ergonomics of the T800 EX are impressive. Getac has packed plenty of power into the 227mm x 151 mm x 24 mm thick device. Weighing in at just 910g, it can fit in the palm of your hand.
The handy 8.1-inch display is 34% larger than the usual 7-inch display. Getac has used its LumiBond® 2.0 technology which bonds the display glass to the touch panel and LCD for a single durable panel that minimises glare and improves readability. The tablet can be used in four touch modes – finger, glove, pen and digitizer. The pen is used for capturing signatures, taking notes, drawings and forms. The keyboard includes 5 programmable buttons.
Rugged Durability
The tablet is certified to MIL-STD 810G and IP65 standards so it’s well protected against six foot drops, liquids, shocks, spills, vibration, and dust. The unit can be operated in extreme temperatures from -21°C to 50°C and be stored at -51°C to 71°C.
A single charge provides hours of life for the tablet but a SnapBack battery add-on can provide infinite battery life without the need to shut down the Windows operating system. There’s also the option of a 1D/2D imager barcode reader.
Connected for Work
The T800-EX rugged tablet has the option of being configured with 4G LTE cellular data with an auto-tunable antenna which is capable of quickly switching between bands. It comes with the latest 802.11ac WiFi for faster data transfer speeds and optional dedicated GPS for faster location positioning.
The auto focus rear camera is 8M pixels. Pre-installed software includes Getac Camera, Getac Utility and the Getac Barcode Manager.
Tough on Security 
Multi-factor authentication protects the device against malicious threats and intrusions. For anti-tampering the T800-EX uses Trusted Platform Module 2.0 that checks for signs of intrusion during system boot-up. Windows 10 security includes Microsoft Passport and authentication tools.
