One of the original and best lightweight rugged laptops continues to improve with the recent launch of the CF-19 Mk3. The CF-19 is a fully rugged notebook that has the unique feature of being fully convertible to a tablet computer. Featuring the new Dual Touch functionality which gives the user the choice of convention "Touch Screen" functionality or simply switch modes to enjoy full "Digitiser" touchscreen functionality with support for handwriting recognition. The new model also gets an upgraded screen backlight to an amazing 1000 nit brightness. The devices meet and exceed MIL STD 810F for Drop, Shock and Vibration and are IP 54 rated for dust and moisture ingress. With a fast low voltage processor, support for up to 4GB RAM and outstanding outdoor viewability, the machines are at home in the office or in the most hostile outdoor environment. The size and convertible aspect make them the perfect choice for vehicle installations and Roaming Technologies can create a custom mounting solution for any kind of vehicle.
